"Carry the light-giving Message into the night..." - Paul (Phil. 2:15b - MSG)
FireLight Christian Fellowship is a really cool Church that meets on Sunday evenings at 221 Hampton Street. No, we don't have Church in the morning too. We sleep in, relax, spend time with our families, do some stuff in the afternoon, then we get ready for Church. We start with a potluck supper on Sundays at 5:30 pm, then we begin our worship service at 6:30 pm. We have a time of musical worship all together, then the kids have Children's Church and the adults hear a Bible-based message. It's fun! FireLight is led by a team of elders, which includes Rob Baron (the pastor) and André Cyr (an elder-in-training). Besides Rob and André, there are many people who work together to make FireLight Christian Fellowship run smoothly.
In addition to our times together in Church on Sunday, FireLight enjoys house groups on Thursday nights at 7 pm. We meet in smaller groups at Rob & Karen's house and Darrell & Cari's house. On these Thursdays we worship together, pray for one another, study the Bible and have a great time of fellowship around the table afterwards.
FireLight is a fun-loving, caring Church - a spiritual family that is committed to loving God and loving each other. Our meals together are sweet in fellowship, our worship times together are expressive and participatory, and our study of the Word of God together is rich and challenging. If you don't have a Church home, or you would like to learn more about Jesus along with us, feel free to drop by for a visit.
We hope to see you soon!
