“God is building you, as living stones, into his spiritual temple.”
- Peter (1 Peter 2:5)
LivingStones Christian Fellowship meets Sunday mornings at 221 Hampton Street.
We start with a potluck breakfast at 9:00 am - a great way to mingle with people! At 10:00 am, both younger and older generations assemble for a dynamic time of praise and worship. Following that, the kids engage in a Children’s Church time as adults focus on a Bible sermon. From June to September, instead of breakfast, we have a neighbourhood potluck barbeque lunch at Marjorie Park across the street.
During the week, we also meet in various homes. Rich spiritual relationships have developed within these intimate weekly gatherings called “house groups”. You are welcome to join us on Thursday nights at 7:00 pm as we worship, pray, study the Bible and enjoy food and fellowship afterwards.
Among the other leaders serving in our fellowship, our team of elders consists of George Balaktsis (lead pastor), Brian Hildebrand and Vic Geddert . House groups are presently being hosted by George & Sherry, and Vic & Cindy.
Our name reflects what has taken place over time. Like “living stones”, people’s lives have been joined together to form a spiritual household. People have described it as an extended “family of families”. The culture is one of commitment to God and to each other—rich in care—with Jesus and His Word at the centre. We would be honoured if you chose to visit. Consider that our invitation.
