Here are some of the missionaries that we support here at WECC. Please remember to pray for them!
Roly and Cristina Grenier
Serving with WEC (Worldwide Evangelization for Christ)International in Equatorial Guinea, Roly and Cristina, in conjunction with the national church, oversee the Bata Bible Centre a ministry training center for local pastors.
They are also busy coordinating building projects, overseeing ministry initiatives and Roly is even the honorary Canadian consul to Equatorial Guinea.
Throughout their many years of faithful service to the Fung, Roly and Cristina have grown deep connections with these precious people and have been adopted as a part of the Abeso tribe!
Kenny and Paula Warkentin
Kenny serves with Living Waters, a ministry to those who are seeking healing from relational and sexual brokenness right here in Winnipeg.
As the Resource and Outreach Coordinator, Kenny coordinates various long-term and short-term ministry programs designed to empower those seeking relational and sexual wholeness. He also coordinates resources, teaches and frequently speaks at churches and conferences throughout the world.
Paula is also very active as a volunteer and speaker at Living Waters.
Kevin and Adelle Huska
Kevin and Adelle Huska work with Campus for Christ (C4C) at the University of Manitoba. C4C is the university division of Power to Change Ministries
Their mission is to change the world by helping students discover Jesus. Kevin directs a team of almost 100 students, 18 student leaders and two staff who are together reaching out to the 27,000 students on the U of M Campus.
Each of their 15 small groups study the Bible together and plan practical and relevant ways to share the gospel with their friends, family and class mates. They host numerous discussions, lectures, debates and coffee houses and interact with their networks on Facebook and twitter - all in in effort to help students discover Jesus Christ.
The students they work with are are inspired to take the good news Jesus Christ on to other countries on C4Cs Spring Break and Summer projects to countries around the world. They return even more inspired and better equipped to reach out to those back on the U of M Campus.
Kevin and Adelle have been married for almost 13 years and have 3 sons: Isaiah, Mark and Ezra.
Yesupadam and Monika
Yesupadam & Monika and their two children Bethany and Benjamin live and minister in Andhra Pradesh, South East India .
Yesupadam oversees Love n’Care Ministries in India . Here’s a small sample of what Love n’ Care does:
Church Planting (250 Churches in Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Chattisgarh), Discipleship Training Centers (4 DTCs-Bible Schools for men and women), Bethany Children Homes (500+ children), Bethany Public Schools (Nursery to Grade 10), Bethany Christian Jr. College (Grades 11 and 12), Bethany School of Nursing and Midwifery (3 and ½ year program), Disabled Vocational Training Center (Computers, printing press, tailoring/sewing), Bethany Christian Hospital-25 beds.
