God’s Kingdom work on this earth through the Church doesn’t happen magically, but as a result of God’s people actually investing time, energy and resources into it. It’s the way He likes to do things – with our participation. And it’s not a bad deal, either – investing temporal (and therefore temporary) assets into eternal purposes.
