Missions

These are some of the missionaries whom WECC supports. Please remember to pray for them as they answer the Lord’s call on their lives.

Roly & Cristina Grenier – WEC International

Roly and Cristina are directors of the ACTS 13 ministry of WEC International. They have been building up Mobilization Teams in the Sub-Saharan region of Africa to bring Mission Awareness to local churches, recruit and train missionaries and to work alongside national, local churches in sending out their own workers to the unreached in Africa and elsewhere.
Roly and Cristina travel throughout the region starting new mobilizing teams in African countries, bringing training to existing teams, visiting Churches that have sent workers out to the field and visiting workers on the field to encourage them. They are privileged to be part of what God is doing in Africa and through His Church.

Kevin & Adelle Huska – Power to Change

Kevin is currently the Power to Change-Students Winnipeg Team Leader. He is helping to oversee students at the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg. They are trusting God to help them launch a ministry at Red RiverCollege.
Adelle came to know Jesus when she was five years old. She got involved as a student at the University of Manitoba. After graduating, she joined staff to help reach students for Christ.
Kevin came to know Jesus Christ through Rob Baron and some friends at Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute in 1991. God used Rob’s influence along with his involvement with Power to Change (then called Campus Crusade for Christ) to give him a passion to share his faith. Kevin joined staff after graduating from the University of Manitoba.
Together, Adelle and Kevin have served in Saskatchewan and Manitoba as well as several countries around the world where they have taken students on mission projects.
They have 3 boys: Isaiah, Mark and Ezra.

Yesupadam & Monika – Love ‘n’ Care Ministries

Love-n-Care Ministries is an international organization based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, which is dedicated to reaching the unreached with the good news of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and extending care to the needy.

Matt & Cheryl Peters have a heart of compassion for  young people in Manitoba’s urban communities, especially in Winnipeg’s inner city. They have recently embarked on a new mission project called Inner City Outreach, which allows them to pool their years of experience and skills working with young people to create a multi-faceted Kingdom ministry to the next generation.
